Audi ELV decoding, ID change and repair tool

ELV is the electric steering column lock used on Audi A4/A5/Q5, A6/A7/A8 and Volkswagen Touareg. After replacing the lock or the BCM2 the car may show 02811 or steering-defective errors, because the ELV ID and the immobiliser data no longer match. This page decodes the ELV dump, shows the current ID and lets you change it or synchronise it with the BCM2 data.

Upload the EEPROM dump of the lock (8K0905852D and similar), check the decoded data and download the corrected file with recalculated checksums.
